HEART Project

This course is designed specifically for public health educators, faculty, trainers, and leaders—anyone responsible for teaching or training others in public health or related fields.

We know that the space between valuing anti-racism and practicing it can be wide. This course aims to narrow that gap.

What to Expect:

  • Grounding in Foundations: Explore how racism and anti-racism relate to public health and teaching.

  • Mindset Shifts: Develop an anti-racist teaching mindset rooted in reflection and action.

  • Practical Application: Apply what you learn directly to your own teaching and training materials—syllabi, curricula, and assessments.

The course is informed by public health expert’s scholarship and experience, and draws on research on anti-racist teaching practices.
